Teachers' Tips:
Finally we will practice asking each other to borrow things. The Video / Audio file practices borrowing 12 classroom objects by using polite words. Follow that model and have students practice the dialogue themselves by using the pictures in the textbook, Flash Cards or real classroom objects.
The second portion of the Video / Audio File relates to the "Whose pencil is this?" section at the bottom of Textbook 2 Page 26. That portion of the Video / Audio File teaches the concepts "Mine" "Yours" "His" "Hers" "Ours" and "Theirs". These concepts are expanded upon in the Work Sheets.
The 5 Components
1. Song – Continue to play the Do You Have It? (Song).
2. Interactive Video / Audio File – The first portion of this Video / Audio file is entirely first person. Play the file and let students read along with it. Then have them answer the questions themselves, role play and finally read the words out loud themselves with the volume off. (There is no Excellent Version of the conversation included in the Video / Audio File. If you want to practice the Excellent Version you will have to make up your own examples).
The second portion of the Video / Audio file focuses on the concepts mine, yours, his, hers, ours and theirs. These common words are important for beginners to learn. Repeat this section of the file until students can answer the questions perfectly before seeing the answers.
3. Textbook Activities – Follow the instructions in the Teachers' Tip at the bottom of Textbook 2 Page 26.
4. Classroom Activities – The goal of the lesson at the top of Textbook 2 Page 26 is teach students to politely ask to borrow things from their friends. You can expand on this lesson by using objects in the classroom. Have students sit in a circle and give one classroom object to each student. Then have the students ask to borrow each other's things.
The goal of the "Whose pencil is this?" lesson at the bottom of Textbook 2 Page 26 is to understand and memorize the words and concepts for mine, yours, his, hers, ours and theirs. Try the activity in the Teachers' Tip at the bottom of the page. Use your imagination to come up with your own ways to practice speaking "It's mine, It's yours, It's his, It's hers" etc.
5. Work Sheets – There are 12 Work Sheets relating to the exercise at the top of the page. By the end of them students should be able to write the dialogue into the word bubbles without copying from another page.
Workbook 2-3 Pages 13 - 19 focus on the "Whose pencil is this?" lesson at the bottom of Textbook 2 Page 26. If students still have a hard time remembering these words once they have finished all the Work Sheets have them write additional notes in their notebooks.

이제 학생들은 서로에게 물건을 빌릴때 사용할수 있는 표현들을 연습하게 될것입니다. 비디오/오디오 파일은 교실내에 있는 12가지 물건들을 빌릴때 예의바르고 정중한 표현을 사용하여 연습하도록 되어있습니다. 모델을 따라 학생들이 스스로 대화를 연습하게 하고 교재의 그림이나 플래시 카드, 또는 교실안에 실제 가지고 있는 물건들을 사용해 학습합니다.
두번째 파일 부분에서는 본교재 26페이지 하단에 나와있는 "Whose pencil is this?"을 소개하고 있습니다. "Mine" "Yours" "His" "Hers" "Ours" and "Theirs"와 같은 소유대명사를 소개하고 이 내용들은 워크북 학습에도 연장됩니다.
5단계 학습 구성
1. 노래 – 계속해서 Do You Have It? (Song)을 듣습니다.
2. 비디오 /오디오 상호 학습 –파일을 재생시켜 학생들이 같이 따라 읽게 합니다. 학생들 스스로 질문과 대답을 할수 있도록 롤 플레이를 해보도록 하고 마지막은 파일의 소리를 끈 다음 큰 소리로 단어들을 읽어보게 합니다. (본 비디오/오디오 파일은 엑설런트 버젼을 가지고 있지 않습니다. 만일 엑설런트 버전의 연습을 원하신다면 선생님이 직접 예문을 만들어 지도하실수 있습니다.)
3. 교재 활동 –교재 26페이지에 나와있는Teachers' Tip을 참고해서 지도합니다.
4. 교실 활동 – 교재 26페이지의 학습 목표는 학생들이 어떤 물건을 친구들에게 빌리려고할때 예의바르고 정중한 표현을 사용하도록 지도하는데 있습니다. 교실안에 있는 물건들을 사용해 지도해보도록 합니다. 학생들을 둥글게 마주보고 앉게 한다음 각 학생들에게 물건들을 하나씩 나눠주고 서로간에 물건을 빌려보도록 합니다.
교재 2권 26페이지에 있는 "Whose pencil is this?"학습은 mine, yours, his, hers, ours 그리고 theirs의 단어들 개념을 이해하고 암기하는데 목표가 있습니다. 페이지 아래의 Teachers' Tip을 참고하고 지도하세요. 선생님이 생각할수 있는 여러 방법들로 "It's mine, It's yours, It's his, It's hers"등의 speaking연습을 시킬수 있습니다.
5. 워크북 학습 – 본 교재 상단의 그림과 같은 형태의 대화를 연습할수 있는12장의 연습문제 페이지가 있습니다. 끝까지 연습을 하다보면 학생들은 다른 페이지를 보지 않고도 이 대화들을 말풍선안에 스스로 작성할수 있게 될것입니다.
워크북 2-3의 13-19페이지는 본교재 26페이지 하단에 있는 "Whose pencil is this?"의 내용을 학습하는데 포커스가 맞춰져있습니다. 만일 워크북 학습이 끝날때까지 학생들이 이 단어들의 의미를 이해하지 못하고 암기하지 못한다면 학생들의 개인노트에 별도로 연습할수 있도록 지도합니다.
