Teachers’ Tips:

It's time to introduce the small letters or "lower case" letters. This should be easy for students as many small letters look much like the capital ones.

The 5 Components

1. Song - Continue to play The Alphabet Song as often as you like. You are still helping the students to associate each letter with the sound it makes.

2. Interactive Video / Audio File - There is no Interactive Video / Audio File for this section because we are only learning the letters themselves.

3. Textbook Activities - Continue to point at the pictures on pages 6 and 7 and ask "What's this?" for not only the objects but the letters as well.

4. Classroom Activities – Students should still be making at least one page everyday for their "Alphabet Book" with 2 pictures for each letter.

How about writing a jumbled up version of the alphabet on the board and have students "unscramble" it. Have them draw a line from A to B and then to C and so on.

Try playing a game where two students come up to the board. Have a bunch of letters written on the board jumbled up in order. You randomly call out the name of one letter. Both students must find that letter on the board and point at it. The fastest student wins.

5. Work Sheets – You can expand on the Work Sheet material by having students write out the alphabet several times by themselves in their own notebook for homework or as a test.

Teachers' Tips:

학생들은 이제 소문자를 학습합니다. 소문자는 대문자와 비슷한 모양이 많기 때문에 학생들이 쉽게 배울 수 있을것입니다.

5단계 학습 구성

1. 노래 – 계속해서The Alphabet Song을 재생합니다. 학생들이 노래를 따라하며 각각의 알파벳과 소리를 익힐 수 있도록 계속 도와주세요.

2. 비디오 / 오디오 상호 학습 – 본 섹션을 위한 비디오/오디오 파일은 없습니다.

3. 교재 활동 – 계속해서 교재6,7페이지에 있는 알파벳들을 하나씩 짚어가며 학생들에게 "What's this?" 질문을 하고 알파벳 이름뿐 아니라 단어들도 같이 물어봅니다.

4. 교실 활동 - 각각 두개의 그림을 가지고 있는 알파벳 철자들로 "Alphabet Book"을  계속만듭니다.

칠판에 알파벳을 순서없이 섞어서 적은 후 학생들에게 순서대로 선을 그어 정리하게 합니다.

학생 두 명을 불러 선생님이 말하는 알파벳의 이름을 칠판에서 찾아 가르키도록 하고 알파벳을 먼저 짚은 학생이 이기는 게임을 해보도록 합니다.

5. 워크북 학습 – 학생들에게 알파벳을 각자의 노트에 몇 번씩 연습하도록 더 연습하도록 할수 있고 숙제를 내주거나 테스트를 해보도록 합니다.
