Teachers’ Tips:

Often Korean beginners to English make the mistake of forgetting about the word "drinking". When they should reply "She's drinking juice" they often say "She's eating juice".

This section provides plenty of practice for students to distinguish between "eating" and "drinking". Each picture alternates between eating and drinking. Make sure students respond with the correct answer for each example.

The 5 Components

1. Song - The House Song also applies to this section.

2. Interactive Video / Audio File - Use this file the same way you used the previous Interactive Video / Audio File.

3. Textbook Activities - The textbook activities for this section are the same as in the previous sections.

4. Classroom Activities - You can photocopy these pages and make your own Flash Cards or print out the Flash Cards from the Teachers’ Kit. You can also have students make their own Flash Cards to practice with.

A game of Charades with all of these new verbs can be fun!

5. Work Sheets - As in the previous sections there are two types of Work Sheets. The earlier ones are quite simple and the later ones are more difficult. There is also a Vocabulary Page and a Bingo Game for all of these new words.

영어학습을 시작하는 사람들중 많은 사람들이"drinking"이란 단어를 망각하는 실수를 저지릅니다.  "She's drinking juice"라고 대답 해야할때 자주 "She's eating juice"라고  대답하는 경우들입니다.

이 섹션에서는 학생들이 "eating"과 "drinking" 을 구별하는 연습을 많이하게 됩니다. eating 과 drinking 에 해당하는 그림을 교대로 보여주어 학생들이 각각의 예시문에 정확하게 대답할수 있도록 합니다.

2. 비디오 / 오디오 상호 학습 - 앞  비디오 파일과 같은 방법으로 사용하시면 됩니다.

3. 교재 활동 - 앞 섹션의 학습방법과 같습니다.

4. 교실 활동 -이 페이지들을 복사하여 플래시 카드를 만들거나 "Teacher's Kit"에서 복사해서 만들수있습니다. 학생들이 플래시카드를 직접 만들어 연습하는건 어떨까요.

이 새로운 동사들을 이용해 제스쳐게임을 하는것도 재미있을 것입니다.

5. 워크북 학습 - 두가지 형태의 워크북페이지가 있습니다. 처음 몇 페이지는 비교적 간단하지만 후반부는 더 많은 단어들을 사용해 문장을 완성해야하므로 조금더 어려워집니다. 그리고 마지막부분엔 모든 새로운 단어들을 공부할수있는 단어장과 빙고게임도 있습니다.
